    "Icaro, healing support," Eidolon said. "It'll be quicker than draining things."

    Far be it from Eidolon to want to rely on the help of others. But she recognized when it was the better idea...well, mostly. She was still going to do her damndest to keep herself in fighting condition all on her own. Not because she was actually worried about herself, but because Andrew really needed to shut up about it. The last fight was not something she'd had any control over. That's what she was convinced of, at least. The reality of it was something for someone else to decide.

    More importantly, this battle. Icaro had remained silent as she spotted the viruses up ahead, but Eidolon could still feel her healing magic at work: first a quick burst, and then a slower regeneration. She then remained in the doorway, trying not to stand out too much as Eidolon took a step forward...and then vanished.

    Up on the ledge, she reappeared behind the shielded mortar virus, leaving a few feet of space between herself and its back. With a bit of chip data from Andrew, Eidolon materialized an eye-like entity in front of herself, with its eye pointed directly at the mortar.

    Then she stepped back, and waited to see what would happen.

    Kissed anyone? Well...um...there was one incident that was sort of recent, but it was kind of a strange situation that I'd rather not get too deep into. It's fun, though, maybe I should do it more, even if I'm not someone most people would want to...don't tell Andrew I said any of this. Actually I really hope Andrew (that's my operator) isn't reading this at all, I'm sure he'd get some weird ideas from it.

    It's an odd resolution to be sure, but I wish you luck nonetheless. (You might need it if someone takes it the wrong way.)

    Icaro says I'm being unusually talkative. But I think that's going to be my resolution. My operator and support both say I'm too closed off. I guess I don't really mean to be, but I like my secrets, and some things I just don't think they need to know. But I know I'm worrying them, so I'm going to try to open up more to people. I'm sure it'll be as hard as your own goal. Doing this seems easy enough, but really I'm just talking into a recording program. I can say whatever I want here and then it's no longer my problem.

    ...That's probably a bad attitude to have.

    I guess that's what I'm supposed to do here, though? I have to have done something like this before, but I just can't remember.

    You sound like you have this figured out pretty well. I'm not too familiar with the business you speak of, but I can understand the want or need to get results without a fight. Supreme excellence, wasn't it?

    My resolution's actually something similar. I'm resolving to be more efficient in my own duties. I love fighting, so I tend to get carried away with the fun of it, and that can cause problems if I get careless in the process. Once got myself surrounded because I got caught up dueling a Cattack and took a lot of damage getting out. My commander gave me the full lecture on repair costs after that one.

    Oh, and wasting ammo, she's gotten onto me for that from time to time too. Sometimes overwhelming firepower just feels good, though.

    So I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'm resolving to do less of that and improve on my efficiency and effectiveness. It's not as fun, but I'll be better off in the long run.
