    RE: Vacation

    Quote (Goroke)

Please, don't put RERN ahead of your family things, especially in a vacation.

Pretty much that. Hope you have fun, at least.

To be honest, Lancer will probably enjoy something like that; though sometimes I think he gets a bit too... into it. Oh well, I most certainly accept, and hope we can be of sufficient service.

I suppose she said it all. If it's something like combat, I don't intend to lose.

    Lancer Sig Updates
Current sig pool (after buying 2 process upgrades): 60/140

Altering Lancet to do a bit more damage, and adding a new sig after playing around with some ideas and such:

    RE: Prolouge
'Tactics is the best, followed very closely by Nine'

This I think I can agree with. Anyway, we all have our degrees of nerdiness around here, so that being said... welcome from a local newbie(ish), sure you'll enjoy it around here.

    First Mission
Well... it's something I'd be able to buy in the store if I hadn't spend so much on upgrades, and I'm still just a little short-handed, chips-wise, so I'd like to request a mission for an ElecKnife, which I'm sure my Navi will be able to make some good use of. Thanks in advance for anything you find!

    RE: Greetings.....
Taking a bit to figure out your name... 'old slendy white?' Eh, I dunno, doesn't matter.

Regardless, welcome from a local newbie(ish); it really doesn't seem to be a bad place around here, so long's you enjoy Battle Network and are patient enough to wait on people sometimes, you should be fine.

    RE: Inside the shop
'You too... for what's left of it, at least," Risa replied with a little grin, retrieving her PET and wandering off back to ACDC Town, and home.

    RE: Inside the shop
Onward the young blonde wandered after her Navi's (failed on one end, succeeded on another) excursion into the 'net, which itself had given her more than enough for this trip. Glancing around a little, she quickly pinpointed what she was looking for (after a quick scan with her PET for any jack-in points; one never knew when such knowledge might be useful!) before she made her way to the counter, setting her PET on its surface.

"Alright... can only afford one, so I'll be taking an HP Memory, and... while I'm at it, since that gives a little bump, I'll grab two process upgrades as well, since that's all I seem to have space for at the moment."

    Buying HP Memory #1 (1000z), process upgrades #1 & 2 (300z total) = 1300z

    RE: Excursions into meetings
"Alright, well... I think that's about enough of that. It's starting to get late, and after that slime thing, I think I've about had enough," Risa announced from her continued point of safety, eliciting an exasperated sigh from Lancer.

"So you'll basically have wasted that subchip," the Navi observed somewhat coldly.

"It's fine, I still have one more and they're cheap anyway. Now come on, I have things I need to do. Like a little shopping."

"Fine... but next time, you follow my lead."

"We'll see~," Risa simply replied, while the Navi meanwhile disappeared into a little burst of light and data, returning to his PET home.

    RE: Excursions into meetings
"Hmph... persistent creature, I'll give it that. Forget that fire-type chip, I'll be taking the claw," Lancer spoke, grumbling a little to himself at the fact that the bizarre virus hadn't died yet; or rather, that he hadn't been able to finish it off yet, even with all he'd thrown at it. 'Twas persistent, he had to give it that, but there were always ways to end precisely that.

For his next trick against the beast that was apparently able to malform and avoid damage, perhaps he could throw it off-guard and avoid that, and his lance itself was perfect for that job. A quick thrust forward and odd orbs erupted from the Storm Lance's tip to rush down the slime-like virus, coming at it from multiple points (despite only being within a mild radius). A tug back on his lance drew the orbs back to it, and with due luck forced the creature a little closer. It still didn't seem like a good idea, but the Navi really have anything else that would likely be effective against this thing except his claw, which his gauntlet formed into. With a quick, short rush forward, he swiped that claw downward toward the virus, hoping to either catch it off-guard or in a way that it couldn't deform away from. Barely was that singular swipe complete before he darted back away from the creature again, making sure to keep his footing away from the fire panels.

    Summary

    1. Lancet to Metal-Slime Spikey (15 drain, break, pull)

    2. RageClaw1 to Metal-Slime Spikey (40 damage; use 1 of 6)

    3. Dodge to the side, playing keep-away with furnace panels.
